Workaholism is a growing problem in today's society, with many people equating long hours and overwork with success. However, this mentality can have serious consequences for individuals and organizations alike. People miss out on other great opportunities on life such as marriage, having a baby, or traveling the world just to mention a few reasons. Workaholics also tend to make more mistakes and experience burnout, reducing their productivity and overall effectiveness. Additionally, workaholism can create a toxic work environment, with employees feeling pressure to constantly work and compete with one another. In the end, workaholism is detrimental to both individuals and organizations, and it's important to prioritize a healthy work-life balance. That's literally what I think.
