​Welcome to the month of June and we are going to talk about eco-friendly straws to sip your delicious drinks with. As you can see from the above picture, the paper straw is by far the most environmentally friendly straw. It boasts recycled material and disintegrates back to earth at a faster rate. The plastic straws are darn cute with their eloquent shape and design since you are able to see your beverage go up in swirls. Finally, the ‘what were they thinking’ straw are the metal ones. If you were to sip with a metal straw even though it is reusable, you can easily injure yourself terribly if someone were to prank you and tip your head into your drink as you were sipping with a metal straw. For this reason, metal straws pose a threat far greater than plastic on this one. If you have any at home or in your stores, it would be wise to use it for arts and crafts vs. an eating/kitchen utensil.
