​Although the concept of having reusable ice cubes sounds nice and flashy, quite frankly, it is one of those inventions where civilization could do without because the traditional way of making ice cubes were in fact environmentally friendly. The traditional way had no waste and no plastic involved. These tiny ice cube babies or ice balls come with plastic. How in the world is it sustainable to the overall concept? Secondly, after you have used it in your beverage, you must wash it! This is an additional step that most can do without! Find me a person that enjoys washing additional items! I promise you that you will not find one!
