Let me tell you that FIFA 2022 to 2023 and 2024 went by super-fast. Was it as fast for you as it was for me and my team? Well, if you are in the #CPG industry, you know very well that the early stages of a company may require bootstrapping and it may consume a lot of time. For this reason, I will tell you a few the major highlights of last year in particular, the ones that are not foodbank or charity related:

1. Our company became a finalist at the Sustainable Solutions Challenge at the Hajj and Umrah Expo in Jeddah. We were so fortunate to make it this far presenting our aluminum electrolyte bottled water as an alternative to plastic bottled water. Many were thrilled to see our electrolytes in the Kingdom and were asking where it would be sold. While our lemon lime flavor was not in production yet with the current packing, we were only able to offer a limited supply of samples of our other future flavors without any packaging and labeling. Those who did try it, were very thrilled about our refreshing taste and energy received for the duration of their time at the expo. Also, they were very happy to meet me, the founder of the brand!

2. In May of 2024, we launched our product sampling with SnackMagic.com and had amazing clients. The image above will tell you who our top repeat customers were. There were more than 650 clients of SnackMagic.com, who purchased the sample size sticks. These customers ranged from every state in the US and Canada as well. For nearly 5 weeks, we hit the number one spot for the most sold product in the health & wellness and beverage category. 

3. In July, we were approved to become a marketplace seller on Walmart.com. Our first listing became live in November and our first sale on that platform came within 2 days of which 4 were organic sales within 7 days. While the algorithm and the cloud do take time to process and internalize when it comes to large databases, it is still a massive win from our end to pursue our dream and grow from platform to platform. 

4. I acted in a movie with a one liner and tried to get product placement for my products. While they were not taking in any brands for this movie, I did get to act in a real movie and that was super cool and surreal at the same time!

So yes, we have been ultra busy with the other various wins in networking and customer relations. There may not have been a New Years post in a timely fashion and that is because we wanted to spend more time with family, take a break and resume operations after being well rested. After all, what good is pursuing a passion if you are not able to do the main things that you would want to do?
